Sentira XR Celebrates Triple Win at the International eAssessment Awards 2025

Three International e-Assessment Awards 2025

We were thrilled to take home three awards last week at the International e-Assessment Awards 2025 in London. Sentira XR was recognised in the following categories:

🏆 AI in Assessment Innovation Award
🏆 Best Formative Assessment Project
🏆 Most Innovative Use of Technology in Assessment

For a young company still in its early stages, this triple recognition is a powerful endorsement of the work we’ve been doing at the intersection of immersive technology, AI, and healthcare education. To be acknowledged alongside some of the most established and forward-thinking names in assessment is both humbling and energising.

A Testament to Teamwork and Vision

None of this would be possible without the creativity, dedication, and hard work of the incredible Sentira XR team. Every innovation, from our AI-powered virtual patients to our immersive VR consultation scenarios, has been developed with purpose, care, and an unwavering commitment to improving clinical education and assessment.

We are also fortunate to work with visionary collaborators across universities, NHS Trusts and professional bodies, all of whom have helped shape and test our technology in real-world contexts. These awards are as much theirs as they are ours.

Recognising a Supportive Community

We’d like to extend our thanks to the e-Assessment Association, the judging panels and the British Council for their support and celebration of innovation through these awards. The entire event was a testament to the strength of the global assessment community and the shared goal of delivering smarter, fairer, more effective ways to evaluate learning and competency.

The calibre of this year’s finalists was extraordinary, and we feel proud to be among them. Seeing so many projects pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with digital assessment reminds us that we’re part of something much bigger than ourselves.

What’s Next?

We’re not stopping here. As we continue to develop our XR-based clinical training tools, we’re also exploring new ways to assess not just practical medical skills, but also communication, empathy, decision-making and patient safety.

We believe the future of assessment will be deeply immersive, data-rich, and human-centred, and we’re excited to keep building that future, one simulation at a time.

If you’d like to see what we’re working on or collaborate with us, please get in touch.

E-ATP 2023… the conference countdown begins!

E-ATP 2023, Vienna, September 20th- 22nd

The E-ATP 2023 conference takes place in Vienna this year from the 20th to the 22nd of September. This annual event is the largest gathering of assessment professionals in Europe.

If you are part of an organisation that uses or is considering the use of assessments to measure the achievement, competency or performance of your workforce or students then E-ATP 2023 is for you. The assessment industry has expanded hugely in recent years and with AI currently transforming the landscape there is much to discuss.

This year’s programme will consist of informative presentations, engaging interactive sessions and distinguished industry keynote speakers.

Delegates will hear how the community is innovating and developing to push assessment forwards and there will be many opportunities to share best practice with colleagues. There will be numerous networking events over the course of the 2-day conference. Delegates will also be able to test out all the latest assessment tools and technologies at the vendor exhibition.

German Bencci, Founder of CodeYourFuture will deliver this year’s Opening Keynote. CodeYourFuture is a tech community supporting disadvantaged people and refugees looking for careers in the tech industry. German will explain how CodeYourFuture works to liberate learners from ‘collecting endless pieces of paper and instead have them focus on building their own, individual, marketable skills’.

Another conference highlight will be a presentation by Sentira XR‘s CEO Jeremy Carter and Paul Edelblut from Vantage Labs. Their joint session is entitled ‘The Intersection of Authenticity and Innovation: VR and AI in Medical Assessment’. Join them at 2:15 pm on 20th September as they explore using Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence in medical assessment on multiple continents.

Registration for E-ATP 2023 is now open. The delegate fee includes all conference-related sessions and materials as well as lunch and breaks. Don’t miss out!
