Carbon Reduction Plan

Version 1.0 – April 2025

Please note Sentira XR is the trading name of VREvo LTD.

1. Commitment to Achieving Net Zero

Sentira XR is committed to achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2050, in alignment with the UK Government’s 2050 Net Zero target. We are also working toward near-term emissions reductions aligned with NHS and public sector procurement frameworks.

2. Baseline Emissions Footprint

As an early-stage, remote-first organisation, Sentira XR’s carbon footprint is currently minimal. Our primary emissions sources relate to cloud computing, business travel, and indirect use of customer hardware (e.g. VR headsets). We are preparing a full emissions baseline using DEFRA conversion factors, with initial estimates as follows:

– Scope 1 (Direct): 0 tCO2e – No company-owned vehicles or office facilities.
– Scope 2 (Indirect, electricity): 0 tCO2e – No office energy use.
– Scope 3 (Business travel, cloud use): Approx. 2.5–4.0 tCO2e (FY 2024/25 est.)

3. Emissions Reduction Targets

We aim to reduce our carbon intensity per user by 30% by 2030 through use of green cloud providers, reduced travel, and low-carbon hardware choices. Annual emissions reporting will be published starting FY 2025/26.

4. Carbon Reduction Initiatives

– Remote-first working model to eliminate commuting.
– Use of AWS cloud, committed to 100% renewable energy by 2025.
– Preferred rail travel for domestic trips.
– Avoidance of unnecessary hardware deployments.
– Upcoming switch to more energy-efficient streaming and AI infrastructure.

5. Monitoring and Reporting

Sentira XR will publish an annual Carbon Reduction Report starting in 2026 and maintain an internal carbon tracker based on standard conversion factors (DEFRA). Progress will be reviewed annually and reported to the Board.

6. Declaration and Sign-Off

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been reviewed and approved by the senior management of Sentira XR.
