SentiraXR at Universally Manchester Festival: Experience the Future of VR
Next week, the SentiraXR team will showcase our cutting-edge virtual reality experiences at the Universally Manchester Festival, a four-day celebration to mark The University of Manchester’s 200th anniversary. As a proud spin-out company from the University, we’re delighted to take part in this wonderful event.
Festival Overview
The Universally Manchester Festival takes over the University of Manchester campus from Thursday, June 6th to Sunday, June 9th, 2024. This free event is a diverse and dynamic celebration, offering attendees the chance to put together their own unique programme from a variety of activities. From behind-the-scenes tours and salon discussions to music, theatre, comedy, art, poetry, and wellbeing sessions, there’s something for everyone.
Each day will spotlight different themes, from poetry to physics, music to medicine, and computing to creative writing. With more than 150 imaginative and immersive events planned, the festival will transform areas across the campus—labs, concert theatres, outdoor spaces, and the University’s acclaimed cultural venues like the Whitworth Art Gallery and Manchester Museum—into buzzing hubs of activity.
Celebrating Manchester’s Legacy and Future
Universally Manchester Festival will honour the University’s global impact, celebrating world-firsts, life-changing discoveries, and the rich tapestry of music, art, science, and creativity that Manchester is so rightly proud of. The festival will feature notable figures from the University’s past, present, and future, including renowned physicist and award-winning podcaster Professor Brian Cox, and BAFTA-winning broadcaster, writer, and historian Professor David Olusoga.
Current students and graduates will also have the opportunity to showcase their own creativity and innovative ideas.
